TELFAIR BALL INVITATION

The 2019 Telfair Ball, commemorating the 200-year anniversary of two historic Telfair buildings, was an event unmatched in Savannah's history. The lavish soirée began with the receipt of this decadent invitation. A textured outer holder was blind embossed with the original Telfair family crest. The invitation was printed on diffused paper, folded and sealed in wax as a posted letter would have been in the 1800s. A response card, envelope and several inserts also were included in the package, which was tied with a silk scarlet ribbon.
